The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) celebrated a milestone year in its 19th edition. More than 8,500 delegates, 2,000 exhibiting companies, 700 speakers and over 95,000 visitors from 135 countries gathered in the capital of the UAE.
Among the exhibitors was a newly emerging manufacturing company in Signum Instruments hailing from Houston, Texas. Specializing in the development of Microslim technology, Signum Instruments manufactures slim 2-1/4” diameter open hole tools with advanced conveyance technology. Established in 2012 by CEO Weidong Liu, and recently backed by the private equity firm NGP Energy Technology Partners (NGP ETP), ADIPEC was chosen as the kick off exhibition for Signum Instruments. “We are excited to announce that Signum Instruments open hole technology is now commercially available through this well-known exhibition.” said Randy Conley, Global Business Development Manager.
A major goal for Signum Instruments is to enable independent wireline service providers to compete with the majors by providing a unique and versatile answer product.
Signum Instruments is looking to catapult its visibility in the industry through its marketing efforts of exhibiting at ADIPEC and similar conferences such as Houston’s own Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).
